Água de Prata Aqueduct

The Roman Temple of Évora , also referred to as the Templo de Diana. The temple is part of the historical centre of the city, which was included in the classification by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It represents one of the most significant landmarks relating to the Roman and Lusitanian civilizations of Évora and in Portuguese territory.

Água de Prata Aqueduct

A Portuguese National Monument since 1910, its extensive 11-mile-long length is a testimony of the engineering prowess necessary to bring water to all of Évora’s habitants since remote times. A recent clean-up of the fields surrounding the full length of the monument allowed for the creation of Évora’s environmental path, a not-to-be-missed trail.
