The inauguration ceremony of Mercan’s new hotel had the presence of the Mayor of Matosinhos

The inauguration ceremony of the Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos happened last Wednesday, April 27th, at the facilities of Mercan Properties' new hotel.

Jordi Vilanova, President of Mercan Properties, gave the opening speech, saying: “This is a very special day for Mercan Properties. We believe that this is the right hotel in the right location. The growth and expansion of Matosinhos are unquestionable, so we are proud to contribute to the city’s development, especially in the tourism sector”, he said assertively.

The event was attended by the illustrious Mayor of Matosinhos – Drª Luísa Salgueiro, accompanied by the councilors responsible for tourism in the municipality – Drª Marta Pontes e Drª Manuela Álvares. The General Manager of Mercan Properties – Miguel Gomes – was also at the ceremony, accompanied by Mercan Properties’ Construction and Development team, and by those responsible for the planning, design and construction of the Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos.
