As summer approaches, one of the most eagerly awaited events for the people of Amarante (and beyond) is the June Festivities. Held in honor of São Gonçalo, the patron saint of the city, this tradition makes the last days of May and the first days of June the liveliest time of the year. The Alameda Fest features crafts and street food, parades, folk groups, and traditional drum competitions, promising to bring music, culture, and a festive spirit to every street and for all ages.

Located in the heart of Amarante's historic center, Casa das Lérias is just a few meters from the São Gonçalo Church and Bridge, offering a stunning view of the Tâmega River. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway for couples or families, combining fun and tranquility in one stay. From May 31 to June 2, Casa das Lérias is not only a lodging option but also a must-visit spot during the June Festivities. The terrace and garden, with a panoramic view of the Tâmega River, are beautifully decorated and offer a variety of drinks at special prices to complement the longest days of the year. Beer is priced at 1.50€, while cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Mojito, and Caipirinha are available for 6€, and Sparkling Wine Passion Fruit Sangria for 4€ per glass.

Surrounded by the city's Forest Park, Casa das Lérias boasts 23 rooms with minimalist designs inspired by the works of painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. The facility also includes a massage room, a pool, and a bar/café where guests and visitors can enjoy local culinary delights, including the traditional sweet that gives the house its name: Lérias. The festive spirit and excitement extend beyond the June Festivities at Casa das Lérias, as the cocktail menu will be available every Friday and Saturday throughout the summer months.
