Mercan Projects: Progress Continues on Lapa II and Porto's Urban Park

Mercan Properties continues to make progress on the latest developments in the construction of Lapa II, an extension of the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel, part of the Marriott Renaissance brand and the further second-biggest green urban park of the city.  

The structural work on Lapa II is almost complete, and this new development will have 78 luxurious rooms to add to the one already completed and still operating as the best hotel in Porto's hotel sector - the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel, further elevating the guest experience in the city center. August 21st marks the completion of the reinforced concrete structure. Currently, work is progressing on the exterior envelope, and internal civil construction is advancing swiftly. In addition, specialty installations have now entered the execution phase, ensuring that every detail of the project is completed to the highest standards.

In parallel with the Lapa II project, the construction of Porto's Urban Park, located right next to the new development, has also reached a significant milestone. This park, set to become the city's second-largest green space, promises a serene environment for both residents and visitors.
