Roast, the newest restaurant in Porto's Boavista district, is set in the recently opened Holiday Inn Express Porto – Boavista. Created by Chef Miguel Rocha Vieira and managed by Ace Hospitality Management (AHM) and Mercan Properties Group, Roast brings a fresh approach to hotel dining. The restaurant is built around fire, with a focus on roasting quality proteins on coals and skewers, offering daily specials like pork belly, chicken, salmon, and creative vegetarian options like cauliflower with grapes and curry sauce.

The concept is designed for convenience without sacrificing flavor. With a rotating daily menu, Roast offers a unique pay-on-arrival format for executive lunches. Guests can choose from several options: a roast with side dishes and coffee, a roast with soup or dessert, or a full menu including sides, soup, dessert, and coffee. Lunches are crafted to be quick yet satisfying, making it an ideal spot for professionals on the go.

Chef Miguel’s vision is to transform hotel restaurants into community dining spaces that feel welcoming to locals. Afternoon visitors can enjoy a cozy snack menu, and the décor reflects simplicity and warmth, with 56 seats designed for comfort and proximity.
