Arts Hotel Porto hosts special April 25th dinner, live Fado music, and Group Art exhibit

The Arts Hotel Porto will become a vibrant stage for multiple artistic expressions in the coming months. In addition to a group art exhibition curated by the Gonarts gallery, the hotel’s Café Arts will host a special dinner on the night of April 25th, featuring an exclusive menu and a live fado performance.

With the goal of bringing art to unconventional and unexpected spaces, creating meaningful cultural experiences for both guests and city visitors, the Arts Hotel Porto celebrates Portugal’s Freedom Day—on Friday, April 25th—with a dinner that honors Portuguese culture and flavors.

The evening begins at 7:30 PM with a welcome cocktail made with white Port wine and orange. Starters include a selection of breads accompanied by sun-dried tomato pesto, citrus butter, lupin hummus, and veal croquettes with curry and lime mayonnaise.

For the main course, guests may choose between:

  • Seabass fillets with creamy potatoes and grilled vegetables
  • Iberian black pork neck with sweet potato purée and peas
  • Mushroom risotto with chives

The meal concludes with a rich chocolate brownie served with passion fruit cream and raspberry sorbet, alongside a Port wine tasting.

The special April 25th dinner at Café Arts is priced at €45 per person, including drinks (water, soft drinks, wine, and coffee). Guests will also enjoy a live fado performance by Fábio Borges (vocals) and Artur Gil Coutinho (Portuguese guitar). Seating is limited and reservations can be made via +351 22 766 2110 or reception@artshotelporto.com.

Group Painting Exhibition Until June 30

The Arts Hotel Porto will also host a group painting exhibition through June 30th. Curated by Gonarts, a contemporary and digital art gallery, the exhibition features 11 acrylic, oil, and watercolor works created by 9 Portuguese and international artists.

The participating artists—Luísa Pinheiro, Ari Vicentini, Nepotis, C. Alves, Nogueira da Fonseca, Olga Branco, Manuela Ataíde Santos, Goretti Medon, and Gira—present a diverse and daring selection that spans abstract, realist, contemporary, and classical styles.

The colorful, striking, and vibrant pieces are displayed throughout the hotel’s common areas, aiming to evoke different eras and inspire reflection, emotion, and dialogue. The exhibition is free to visit, every day from 12 PM to 10 PM.
