Lapa II construction is approaching its final stages

The construction of Lapa II, an expansion of the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel, continues its progress according to plan, with visible major improvements. Located in the emblematic and historic Lapa neighborhood, just minutes from Porto’s vibrant city center, this new addition to the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel stands as a symbol of architectural refinement and urban integration.

The façade works on Lapa II have now been fully completed, marking a significant construction milestone. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations are actively ongoing across all floors, ensuring that the building's technical infrastructure meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

At the same time, interior finishing works are progressing, bringing to life the refined design that will characterize the guestrooms, public areas, and wellness facilities. The connecting bridge that links the extension to the original hotel structure is also nearing completion, integrating the two buildings for a better guest experience.

Looking ahead, the upcoming months will focus on completing the MEP works and beginning the installation of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). These installations will cover the new guestrooms, lobby, and spa areas — key elements that will define the elevated hospitality experience of the brand in Porto.
