Join "Pizzeria Fontinha" for a special Children

On Sunday, June 1st, World Children's Day, Pizzeria Fontinha in Porto invites kids to get their hands in the dough—literally. The restaurant of Fontinha Porto, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, is hosting a special lunch from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, where children up to 10 years old can make their own pizzas—and enjoy them too—for free.

Pizzeria Fontinha is preparing a special and delicious celebration for children on World Children's Day. Kids will find stations stocked with a variety of ingredients so they can craft their own pizzas just the way they like them. Every pizza starts with the same high-quality base: thick Neapolitan dough matured for 48 hours, true to the house style. Once baked, the pizzas can be devoured on-site or taken home.

To truly step into the pizzaiolo role, kids will also receive a proper pizza chef outfit. There will be face painting and other surprises designed to celebrate the day.

Pizzeria Fontinha, which opened in March 2023 inside the hotel of the same name, will also take this opportunity to unveil exciting new menu items curated by consulting chef Miguel Rocha Vieira. Highlights include the Tartufo Nero (€16), featuring truffle paste, fior di latte mozzarella, gorgonzola, and truffle carpaccio; and the Mortazza (€16.50), with basil pesto, mortadella, cheese, burrata, cherry tomatoes, and oregano.

In addition to its authentic Neapolitan pizzas made with ingredients sourced straight from Italy, the restaurant is known for its relaxed atmosphere and quirky nods to historic figures like Leonardo da Vinci, Joanna of Castile, and Shakespeare.

This special offer is valid only during lunch on June 1st and exclusively for children aged 10 and under. Reservations can be made through The Fork platform or directly with the restaurant.
