Arts Hotel Porto, Tapestry Collection by Hilton celebrates São João with a party in its garden

On the most anticipated night in the “Invicta” city, Arts Hotel Porto, Tapestry Collection by Hilton sets the tone for the beginning of the celebrations. On June 23rd, Monday, colorful hammers and fresh basil plants take over the hotel’s garden for a street party that promises lots of music, good food, and, of course, an extra dose of excitement.

In the late afternoon, guests will be able to snack on regional bakery items, roasted peppers, and olive tapenade. Once the appetite is whet, the traditional caldo verde is served alongside a mini bifana, wrapping up the starters. For the main course, Portuguese flavors shine with Braga-style codfish and pork knuckle with chickpea stew. The sweet moment of the meal pays tribute to the occasion with a dessert specially created for the event – Our Manjerico – a sour cherry semifreddo with Oreo crumble.

The São João party at Arts Hotel Porto, Tapestry Collection by Hilton takes place on June 23rd, starting at 7:30 PM, and costs €30.00 per person, with still water included.

The festive spirit continues into the following day. Lunch on São João Day is served at Café Arts, which, in addition to roasted peppers and olive tapenade, includes aromatic veal croquettes with curry-lime mayonnaise as starters.

Bringing the lightness needed for a summer lunch, the Arts Salad is served, combining quinoa, poached pear, red pepper, red onion, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, and chèvre cheese – the perfect prelude to the main course: seared salmon with cauliflower purée and grilled vegetables. To finish the meal, guests are invited to indulge in a pomegranate crème brûlée with rice crumble.

The São João lunch is scheduled for June 24th at 12 PM, available for €20.00 per person, also with still water included.
