Expanding Horizons in China Through a Trusted Pathway to the EU

In the first two weeks of December, Mercan held a new roadshow in China, strengthening its presence in Asia. Marcelo Azevedo, Business Development Manager, led the visit, presenting Mercan Private Equity Fund II.

Marcelo Azevedo represented Mercan during the visit to China, promoted by our partners at Globevisa, which once again gave us the space to present investment opportunities. This presentation focused on giving further information regarding Mercan Private Equity Fund II (MPEF II), and explaining the advantages of the investment.

MPEF II was launched in October, following the success and closure of Mercan Private Equity Fund I. This new venture capital fund complies with Portugal’s Golden Visa Program, offering investors a clear pathway to residency through investment within the European Union. This new fund includes two projects in Portugal and one in Greece, two of which are already in operation – Hotel Indigo Albufeira (Portugal), and Corfu Acharavi Hotel (Greece).

Chengdu, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing were the key cities chosen to engage, promote, and present the projects included in MPEF II. Alongside, Marcelo Azevedo held multiple close meetings to allow a more personalized dialogue with our partners and give tailored insights essential to building trustworthy relationships with future investors.

This new roadshow to China is part of Mercan’s long-term commitment to transparency and clarity for our partners and investors, reinforcing our partnership with Globevisa. The collaboration is essential to successfully continue connecting investors to global investment opportunities in the European Union.

We extend our appreciation to our partners at Globevisa for their commitment and hospitality in making this roadshow a success. Together, we continue shaping the future of global mobility and investment.
