If you’re a pizza fan, then you may be interested in discovering Fontinha Pizzeria’s program for the festive season. There are special menus for New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day lunch, and Christmas Eve, all in true Italian style.

For the transition into 2026, the restaurant proposes an Italian-style gastronomic experience, featuring fresh pizzas and pastas. The reception includes a welcome drink, such as Kir Royal, Port Tonic, Martini Tonic, or Italian Soda.

Among the starters, guests will find beef carpaccio, a board of Italian cheeses and cured meats, or caprese salad. This is followed by a vegetable cream soup with focaccia croutons and then the main courses: pizzas such as Fontina pepperoni and Prosciutto, as well as ricotta and spinach ravioli and spaghetti alla bolognese.

The dessert buffet blends Portuguese and Italian traditions, with tiramisù, panna cotta, king cake (bolo-rei), and French toast (rabanadas). The countdown to midnight is accompanied by sparkling wine and raisins to welcome the new year. The New Year’s Eve dinner starts at 7:00 PM and costs €85 per person (drinks not included), with reduced prices for children aged 6 to 12 (€42.5) and free for children under 5.

On January 1, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, Fontinha opens its doors again for New Year’s Day lunch, with a buffet and pizza rodízio. Starters include gnocco fritto, marinated olives, La Nostra Caponata, homemade focaccia, fresh salads, and bruschetta.

Next, pizza takes center stage, with options such as Capricciosa, Fontina pepperoni, Nduja, Quattro Formaggi, and Pesto. To finish, desserts include chocolate brownie with red berries, lemon tart, and custard. The menu costs €55 per person, with special prices for children aged 6 to 12 (€27.5) and free for children under 5.

And At Christmas?

On Christmas Eve, Fontinha’s dinner reinvents the classics, starting at 7:00 PM. Starters include beef carpaccio with parmesan, arugula, dried fruits, and balsamic vinaigrette, or caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella, tomato, and pesto.

The vegetable cream soup with focaccia croutons prepares the palate for the main course: artisanal pizzas made with dough fermented for 48 hours, ranging from traditional Margherita, Capricciosa, and Quattro Formaggi to original creations such as Mortazza (in sandwich format, with mortadella, burrata, pesto, and cherry tomatoes) or Tartufo Nero (with truffle paste, fior di latte mozzarella, gorgonzola, and truffle carpaccio).

The dinner ends with a Christmas dessert buffet, including king cake (bolo-rei), French toast with Port wine syrup, custard, pudding, and dreams (sonhos), accompanied by coffee, tea, or a digestif of choice. The menu costs €45 per person, with reduced prices for children aged 6 to 12 (€22.5) and free for children up to 5 years old.
