Casa das Lérias Launches New Flavors of Amarante’s Conventual Sweet for Valentine’s Day

The café at Casa das Lérias, a historic hotel in the heart of Amarante, is once again surprising guests with a themed offering designed for couples in love—and, of course, anyone with a sweet tooth.

Made with almonds, flour, sugar, and water, lérias are the region’s most famous handmade treat. At this venue, they take center stage even more with new versions and pairings to enjoy alongside a privileged view over the city and the Tâmega River. This Valentine’s Day, love, sharing, and connection inspire two special limited editions—chocolate and chili pepper, and roses and champagne—served with a strawberry macchiato for €12.50.

There are also take-home options, perfect for savoring slowly and in good company. A limited-edition box featuring the two new lérias is priced at €7.50, made for moments for two at home. Boxes will be available from February 7 to February 14, while the special menu is only available on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
