Easter is a time for reunions, long conversations, and dishes that invite everyone to savor each moment without rushing. In a bright and relaxed setting, where color, patterns, and different textures define the décor, Cais-me Bem presents a gastronomic offering filled with the essential flavors of Portuguese Easter tables.

Designed by Chef Ricardo Cardoso, the Easter lunch has everything a family banquet calls for at this time of year: a variety of flavors, quality ingredients, and dishes to suit every taste. The meal begins with a selection of refreshing and composed salads, featuring ingredients such as field greens, cherry tomatoes, sweet cucumber, and beets, along with more substantial combinations such as octopus in green sauce, smoked salmon with penne and Greek yogurt dressing, or black beans with a trio of peppers and smoked pork belly.

Portuguese tradition is present at a table dedicated to regional flavors, where classic savory pastries, charcuterie boards, and a selection of national cheeses are all included. Seafood lovers, meanwhile, will find options such as fresh oysters, shrimp boiled in seawater, goose barnacles, stuffed crab, or mussels in a three-pepper and fresh parsley vinaigrette.

In the hot dishes section, where comfort recipes take center stage, there are shareable options such as oven-roasted baby goat served with smashed potatoes, rice with sausages, and sautéed greens, codfish à Gomes de Sá, vegetable and tomato barley, or mussels marinière.

The dessert table is just as much of a highlight, featuring sweets traditionally associated with Easter celebrations. Between the Easter folar and the orange roll cake, alongside chocolate mousse, mango and passion fruit cheesecake, Easter Nest cake, or mini lemon meringue tartlets, the hardest part will be choosing. There are also the much-anticipated chocolate eggs and almonds in different shapes, styles, and flavors.

Cais-me Bem’s Easter lunch takes place on Sunday, April 5, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., priced at €65 per person, with water, soft drinks, and coffee included. Reservations can be made via email at reservas@caismebem.com or through The Fork platform.
